The VFD is a national organization committed to enhancing the capabilities of volunteer firefighters across the United States. Founded by Chief Jared Bonebrake, The VFD started as a grassroots initiative to address the urgent needs of volunteer firefighters. Recognizing a gap in support, it evolved into a national resource dedicated to these vital community members.
