Free CPR and first aid certification class open to the public. Learn life-saving skills from certified instructors. Limited to 30 participants.
EMS Refresher Course
Annual EMT/Paramedic refresher covering trauma assessment, cardiac emergencies, and pediatric protocols. 8 CEUs available.
Open House & Recruitment Night
Visit your local fire station, meet the crew, see the apparatus, and learn about volunteer opportunities. Refreshments provided. Family-friendly event.
Wildland Firefighter Training
S-130/S-190 basic wildland firefighting course. Required for seasonal wildland assignments. Bring firefighting PPE and chain saw if available.
Fire Muster & Apparatus Show
Vintage and modern fire apparatus on display. Competitions include hose lay, ladder climb, and pump operations. Food trucks and live demos all day.
Hazmat Awareness Workshop
Introduction to hazardous materials identification, PPE selection, and initial isolation zones. Meets OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 requirements.
Fire Prevention Week Kickoff
Kick off Fire Prevention Week with school visits, smoke alarm checks, and community safety demonstrations. Volunteers needed for station tours.
Fall Fundraiser Pancake Breakfast
Annual pancake breakfast fundraiser. All-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, eggs, and coffee. Proceeds support station improvements and equipment purchases.
Junior Firefighter Academy
Two-day academy for ages 14-17. Learn fire safety, basic suppression, first aid, and teamwork. Parental consent required. Space limited to 20 cadets.
Volunteer Appreciation Dinner
Annual dinner honoring our volunteer firefighters. Awards for service milestones, top responder, and rookie of the year. Plus-ones welcome.
Station Christmas Toy Drive
Collecting new, unwrapped toys for children in need. Drop off at any staffed station through December. Last year we served 350 families.
